Safe, secure, good for digital nomads
This hostel is in a very safe area, you have your own little cube with a curtain to sleep, adorable patio and cafe and lobby area. Great place to stay if you are a digital nomad. Slightly less of a social atmosphere from my experience, but an amazing place where I felt very safe!

Would definitely recommend!

Vibe:
Basic, cheap hostel
Someone stole my sheet so I was left shivering at night here lol. That’s not the hostel’s fault, but the place was just very basic. I met some amazing people in my room <3, so thankfully wasn’t actually in the hostel for more than sleeping. Bathrooms were kinda gross and it was just not the best. Still safe and not terrible, but nothing amazing.

Probably wouldn’t recommend, there are definitely better, similarly priced hostels in the area! If you end up here for a night or so it will be fine, but it wouldn’t be a place I would be excited to recommend like others on this page.

Basic, cheap hostel
Very colorful rooms lol. Very basic hostel, don’t expect anything crazy. Had big, working lockers. Important to note that this hostel is located in Perisa Beach (the black sand beach on Santorini). It is not located in the famous picturesque towns of Fira or Oia, so you will need to take a bus from Fira to Perisa (which is not a big deal and very cheap). It is like a 5 minute (or less) walk to the black sand beach though which is a big perk.

Would recommend, basic, but good location to beach.

Lovely, comforting, homey
Huge shoutout to hotel manager Maria <3. Treated me like her daughter and made me feel like I was right at home even though I was half the world away. This one was a hotel because I couldn’t find hostels for this island, but it was still pretty reasonable, especially if you look in advance or at off peak times. The rooms were very clean, adorable, full of character, and had great views. Also a great location, right by a beach and a quick walk to the port and main town.
*This is not a hostel, it is in fact a hotel. I was unable to find any hostels on this island (I was booking late but I think there are very few to none)

Vibe:
Private, great views, safe
Very beautiful wonderful little place! For only 35 euros a night I had my own room with a sea view balcony and even a little stove with some cooking-ware. I really loved the little balcony that had amazing views. It is a decent bit from the port/port town (I think like .7 miles, but right by a beach and a wonderful secluded little place.

Social, fun, party, close, community
Mentioned this hostel in the top 3, seriously such an amazing place. Everyone is very social, the welcome shot on the patio is a fun way to unite everyone and get people meeting each other. Location is good, and the views of sunset from the patio are amazing. Owners are really nice and the tequila shots are cheap ;)
