  • Vibe: Safe, quiet, comfortable

Really nice hostel! Felt super safe, and comfortable here. Everything was very clean (especially the bathrooms here), there were big working lockers, and the rooms were very spacious. Definitely not a party hostel, more chill, but still lots of nice friendly people. I will say, it was about a 30 minute walk to the the Old Town. I don’t mind walks at all, and I stayed here because it was cheaper than the ones directly in Old Town, but if you are someone who likes to be more central and is okay spending a little more for more convenient location, search for ones directly in Old Town. It is only about a 5-10 minute walk to the ferry port though, which is nice. Really nice staff.

  • Yes! Just make sure you’re okay with walking a decent bit into town.

  • Vibe: A little strange, I feel like if it was a full hostel (more peak summer maybe) it could have a lot of potential

This was just kind of a random hostel. A bunch of bunk beds in a room that had like a half kitchen and dining room table. Only one bathroom for the floor. Same price of the other hostel that I switched to a day later even though this one was a mile from the main port town. Made a friend at this hostel who said he was stuck in the basement and that it smelled. Not a terrible place, but for the same price I’m gonna choose the hostel that’s centrally located.

  • I would recommend Hostel Korcula instead.

  • Vibe: Comfortable, clean, safe, well located

Solid hostel! Clean rooms, really good location right in the Old Town (also like literally 2 minute walk from the ferry port). Social hostel, not party social hostel but still social (from my experience). Small kitchen available. Overall main perk is the location on this one.

  • Vibe: Fun, social, friendly, surprisingly wholesome for being a party hostel

Amazing location! 3 minute walk from ferry drop-off to hostel. Right in Old Town near all of the bars. Picture is from the night when the two volunteers and another guest played guitar and sang for the entire hostel. Everyone sat in the kitchen and listened, sang along, and drank. This is definitely a party hostel, so just know that going in. Probably not the place to stay if you’re looking to relax and avoid noise and partying. Good vibes, solid location, and also a really cute black lab next door named Blackie : )

Fiesta Siesta Party Hostel

  • Vibe: Party hostel

Another hostel with a good location! Good central location not too far from the ferry port. The owners of this hostel own the bar below, so they put on events every night. Every night was different ranging from beer pong to drinking bingo, etc. Then at around 1am they take hostel members to a club where you get free entry as long as you’re with them. This hostel does not have a kitchen, so you can’t make any of your own meals. Again, another party hostel so avoid this hostel if you don’t want noise/that vibe as the rooms are located directly above the bar which plays music loudly until 1am. Cool views from the windows. Very fun with opportunities to be social, just don’t plan on having any amenities with this hostel to be self sufficient like laundry or a kitchen or a common area other than the bar.

  • Vibe: Dingey, creepy, sad and depressing

One of top two worst hostels I stayed at during this journey. I am not a review writer generally but I wrote one for this hostel because I hated it so much. Somewhat sketchy alleyway to get to this hostel, and a very depressing and sad atmosphere. Nothing seemed clean, they made you pay for sheets so no one bought them and just used comforters and I don’t believe they washed in between every use. The bathroom was also gross, the showers were all lined with black mold, so I took a shower as quick as possible and tried to not have my towel or clothes touch anything. I was the only girl in a mixed room that ended up being all male which is fine, but one of the guys I befriended said he met a girl who also was in a mixed room with all men the night before and some very drunk guy made her so uncomfortable that she had to talk to reception about it. You would think if you have like two girls staying in a hostel total you would put them in a room together instead of putting them in separate rooms with all men. Not to mention this was the most expensive hostel of all of the hostels I stayed at in Croatia. I know that Zagreb is the capitol so it is going to be more expensive, but there is no value for this being the most expensive of all of the hostels I stayed at in Croatia.

  • Vibe: Very clean and comfortable, almost more of a hotel vibe

Really lovely little hostel! They really know how to run a hostel here. Everything is very clean, organized, in order, and pulled together. Also great central location in old Town. One of the nicest hostels I stayed at the whole time. The rooms are very spacious and clean, and even have the curtains you can pull for when you want to go to bed or just some privacy. Attached is a restaurant that you get a discount for, it is a very cute little restaurant. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I will say it definitely didn’t seem to be the most social hostel (at least while I was there) but overall I really liked this hostel.

  • Definitely.
